BLADE’S QUEST FOR VENGEANCE REACHES ITS FATEFUL CONCLUSION!

The creative talents of Marv Wolfman, Gene Colan and Tom Palmer made The Tomb of Dracula the must-read comic of the 1970s. Lushly illustrated, beautifully colored and with taut stories that wove together thrilling action with in-depth character subplots, it was everything you could hope for in a comic book. And in this volume so many strands come together: the Doctor Sun saga concludes, Blade finally wreaks vengeance on the man who killed his mother and a resurrected Count Dracula finds an unholy bride who will bear his child. Dracula also crosses paths with Marvel mainstays, including a crossover where his sinks his teeth into Doctor Strange’s neck and a battle with the cosmic power of the Silver Surfer. The Marvel Masterworks, with their stunning new restoration, make these classics look better than ever.

THE VISION AND SCARLET WITCH JOIN FORCES IN THEIR VERY OWN MARVEL MASTERWORKS!

The Marvel Masterworks are proud to present a massive volume collecting the adventures of the Avengers icons — Vision and the Scarlet Witch. We’re including not just the massive 1985 maxiseries that went on to inspire WandaVision, but also rare never-before-reprinted stories that chronicle the couples’ search for acceptance. With rich storytelling and vibrant artwork, these stories explore themes of love, duty and identity, showcasing the enduring bond between two iconic characters. The Vision’s origins are explored, while the Scarlet Witch expands her powers in new and sometimes shocking ways. Wanda’s brother Quicksilver’s prejudice risks splitting their family apart. Will his choices set him on a dark path? And with Wanda’s mystic pregnancy nearing term what will Magneto’s return mean for the mother-to-be?

WEST COAST AVENGERS … ASSEMBLE!!!

In the 1980s, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes expanded their ranks and their range, founding the West Coast Avengers. The roster of Hawkeye, Iron Man, Wonder Man, Mockingbird and Tigra meant that the team was stocked with powerhouses and fan-favorites alike. Marvel welcomed back one of the greatest Avengers writers of all-time to steer their adventures: Steve Englehart. Along with Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott on art, he wove a massive series debut that brought in arguably his signature characters — Vision and the Scarlet Witch — in a crossover story that plumbs the origins of Wonder Man and the Vision. Ultron also returns, but this new iteration of the iconic villain has a distinctly different disposition. Also featuring a double-sized Wonder Man solo adventure!

Conan wasn’t the only sword and sorcery icon borne from the mind of Robert E. Howard to be adapted to Marvel Comics. With the breakout success of Conan, Roy Thomas set his sights on Howard’s legendary barbarian king of Valusia, Kull, for his own four-color comic book series. Sibling art tandem Marie and John Severin joined for what many consider the creative highlight of their careers, in a run of tales that showed how uneasy hung the crown on the head of Kull, especially when confronting the wicked sorcerer Thulsa Doom! The art of Mike Ploog features heavily in Kull, along with further contributions from some of the era’s top talents, not to mention Kull’s first appearance drawn by comics legend Bernie Wrightson!

THE COMPLETE MARVEL COLLECTION OF ROBERT E. HOWARD’S KULL IN SAVAGE BLACK AND WHITE!

Thousands of years before the dawn of Conan, barbarian tribes rose across the Thurian continent, threatening the civilizations whose crumbling city walls still stood against them. In this ruthless age, there rose a man—an exile, no less—who would come to rule mighty Atlantis in the years before it crashed beneath the waves. This man was Kull and a host of Marvel’s greatest talents would chronicle his saga—his exile and savage youth; his exploits on the high seas; his rise through the gladiatorial pits and military ranks; his reign as king; and his epic battles with the skull-faced sorcerer Thulsa Doom. Experience Kull’s complete black-and-white magazine tales in this Omnibus volume, all painstakingly restored from the highest fidelity materials in Marvel’s archives.

Disillusioned by government corruption and the revelations behind the Secret Empire, Steve Rogers renounces his role as Captain America. The Falcon fights on while Rogers wrestles with his place in the world, becoming Nomad, a man without a country. In his new identity, he must overcome the power of Madame Hydra and the mystical Serpent Crown. Then, the return of the Red Skull forces our hero to make a choice with the Falcon’s life hanging in the balance. Rounded out by adversaries including Nightshade, the Druid and Doctor Faustus, these are the stories defined Captain America for a generation!

Steve Englehart and Sal Buscema take Captain America and the Falcon on a journey through the madness and machinations of Doctor Faustus. The mind-bending Doctor has captured Agent-13, but little does Cap know, Faustus also has Peggy Carter, Cap’s long-lost love from World War II! Then, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. arrive on the scene to conscript Cap in the fight against the Yellow Claw. But the real menace to mankind is subtly concealed. A Secret Empire moves behind the face of American power. Their goal is to frame and discredit Captain America, replacing them with their own “patriotic” icon. Only the combined efforts of Cap, the Falcon, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the X-Men can hope to topple them. It’s a shocking saga that defined Captain America for the ’70s!

It’s a battle through time (with dinosaurs!) that will impress you to the end. Then, Thor fights the Firelord in the jungles of Latin America and only Jane Foster can save him! The Warriors Three ramble off on a solo adventure, while Thor returns to Asgard to face the one and only Mangog! Their battle will rage across the Fabled Realm, taking Thor to the Hel in a quest to save Odin. Also featuring all-new “Tales of Asgard,” Thor vs. Ulik the Troll and a giant, 42-page Annual epic with Hercules!

Steve Gerber debuts, Gene Colan’s amazing run concludes and Marvel’s gritty Man Without Fear reaches his centennial issue in the latest Daredevil Masterworks! Operating out of San Francisco, Daredevil continues his partnership with the Black Widow as they confront villains as weird as Haight-Ashbury. The Dark Messiah and Angar the Screamer lead the charge until Stilt-Man comes to strut his way across the Golden Gate. There’s also a crossover adventure with the Avengers and X-Men, a Spidey team-up, and a fight with Kraven the Hunter turns decidedly cosmic. Enter: Moondragon, who mistakes DD for a thrall of Thanos, and Captain Marvel!

SWEET CHRISTMAS! LUKE CAGE MAKES IT TO MASTERWORKS!

Luke Cage burst onto the comics scene in 1972 as the “Hero for Hire.” Equal parts Marvel Method and Blaxploitation boldness, he was a new kind of hero for a new era. Now, the Marvel Masterworks proudly present the complete Luke Cage, Hero for Hire—the historic first title to headline an African-American super hero—in one hardcover volume. Cage’s adventures depicted New York City’s 1970s grit and the plight of its people unlike any other, all while incorporating larger-than-life villains including Black Mariah and Dr. Doom. From Cage’s origin story to his first exploits as the hard-as-steel hero, each issue has been painstakingly restored and collected here in color for very first time.
