Conan wasn’t the only sword and sorcery icon borne from the mind of Robert E. Howard to be adapted to Marvel Comics. With the breakout success of Conan, Roy Thomas set his sights on Howard’s legendary barbarian king of Valusia, Kull, for his own four-color comic book series.
