A FANTASTIC 15TH MASTERWORKS IN AUGUST 2013!

It’s a treasure trove of FF classics, courtesy of the Marvel Masterworks! First, comes a battle of the sexes as the FF find themselves in the midst of the fight between Femizons and Mahkizmo the Nuclear Man. Then, the Silver Surfer returns – with a vengeance! The Machiavellian Dr. Doom has captured the Surfer’s beloved Shalla-Bal and used her to turn him against the FF.

And that’s just the warm up! The FF and Inhumans team-up against Xemu, Sue returns to the fold, and Arkon the Annihilator initiates an adventure featuring an inter-dimensional alternate Thing. Topped off with a Giant-Size battle against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and the first appearance of Madrox the Multiple Man, they’re Masterworks one and all!

ULTRON AND THE WEDDING OF CRYSTAL AND QUICKSILVER IN FF MASTERWORKS VOL. 14!

Fantastic Four stands tall as one of the most-famous super hero series of all time – and it certainly didn’t get there by resting on its laurels. How better can that be proven than by another Marvel Masterworks collection that starts off with the nefarious Dr. Doom?

He’ll push the FF to the limit before the Human Torch and Medusa explore the Himalayas on a weird adventure. Then the strained relationship of Reed and Sue Richards takes a turn for the worse when Sue joins Namor in an invasion of New York City. Just to keep things tense, the Frightful Four pile on, too!

No Marvel Universe wedding goes without an objection so when Crystal and Quicksilver step up to the altar, it’s the FF and the Avengers vs. Ultron. Topped off with a Giant-Size Thing vs. Hulk battle royale and a time-traveling tale, they’re masterworks, one and all.

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF FANTASTIC FOUR IN NOVEMBER 2011!

The Marvel Masterworks march on with the next collection of incomparable Fantastic Four adventures!

When the Human Torch skips out for the Inhumans’ hidden city and his girl Crystal, he doesn’t find the reception he planned for when Quicksilver greets him. Meanwhile, the Frightful Four launch a surprise attack with their newest member – Thundra – that pushes Reed and Sue to the breaking point. Once the dust settles the FF will be one fewer because the Invisible Girl has quit!

Of course, we wouldn’t have the makings a FF/Inhumans epic if Maximus the Mad didn’t rear his head and make a power play for the Inhuman throne. By the time it’s done the Human Torch will be sporting a fiery new costume, and the Queen of the Inhumans, Medusa, will be FF’s newest member.

And that’s just for starters! Ahead of you are classic battles between the Thing and Thundra; the return of the towering Dragon Man and Gideon; the world’s creepiest babysitter, Agatha Harkness; a bizarre trip back to the ’50s courtesy of the Shaper of Worlds; and a reunion with Wyatt Wingfoot in a fight against one of the FF’s oldest enemies – the Miracle Man!

To top it off we’re also including a trip to the Negative Zone and the origin of its truly evil inhabitant, Annihilus. The villain’s plan to harness the enormous powers in Franklin Richards will devastate the FF in a story that changed the Marvel Universe forevermore!

So don’t hesitate, celebrate 50 years of Fantastic Four – the World’s Greatest Comic Magazine—and reserve your copy today!

ATTILA RISES IN A SECOND INHUMANS MASTERWORKS!

Because one trip to Attilan and the world of the uncanny Inhumans just wasn’t enough, the Marvel Masterworks present the amazing Lee/Kirby creations in their very first self-titled series! Come along and join Black Bolt, Medusa, Triton, Gorgon, Karnak and loveable Lockjaw, as they struggle in battle against both Kree and Skrull in The War of the Three Galaxies!

It all begins when Blastaar bursts into the Inhumans’ Himalayan refuge to activate an ancient menace designed to devour the Inhuman race. That Kree monster is just the first salvo in a war that will lead the Royal Family to the stars and into battle side by side with Captain Marvel. It’s a cosmos-spanning saga that also features the insane Maximus and his evil Inhumans, as well as the Incredible Hulk!

Illustrated by the king of detail-packed penciling, George Pérez; master of amazing anatomy Gil Kane; and 1970s up-and-comer Keith Pollard with scripts by the fan-favorite writer that crafted many of the era’s greatest epics, Doug Moench. It’s a singular saga that’s collected here for the very first time!

THE UNCANNY INHUMANS COME TO THE MARVEL MASTERWORKS AT LAST!

In 1965, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby gave a strange family of outcasts their debut in the pages of Fantastic Four. Responding to their Shakespearean pathos and Kirby’s out of this world character designs, the fans loved them – and wanted more! The mysterious origins of Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Triton, Karnak and the rest of their wondrous, secret world was initially revealed in a series of Thor features. But that only whetted reader’s appetites – and so came their first headlining series in Amazing Adventures!

Launched by writer/artist Jack Kirby, the new series took the Inhumans to their roots, defending their kingdom against the aggressions of mankind – especially against the ultimate threat of the Mandarin. Then a team with ‘uncanny’ credentials, Roy Thomas and Neal Adams, took up the crown and sent the Inhumans on a mythical exodus into the world of man. It was a saga exploring the social issues of the era and, of course, topped off with a heavy dose of Inhuman action!

Also featuring a rare Medusa and Black Bolt tale from Marvel Super-Heroes and a trio of satirical tales from Not Brand Echh by Stan, Jack and their blushing Bullpen!
