Cancelled, not to be re-solicited: Damage Vol. 3 TP, and the new editions of Harley Quinn And The Gotham City Sirens Omnibus HC and Sgt. Rock: The Lost Battalion TP. Then there are those titles that got cancelled, with the material expected to return in different formats: Absolute Fables Vol. 1 HC (Omnibus line, I guess?), Legion Of Super-Heroes: The Road To Legion TP, and Man Of Steel By John Byrne Vol. 1 Omnibus HC. That last one stings.

Also from the “that’s a shame” department: Marvel Monograph TP: The Art of Stuart Immonen has been cancelled. Dude leaves Marvel and look what happens!

The new edition of  Batman: Arkham Asylum was incorrectly solicited as a hardcover. It is actually a trade paperback.

DC’s Tales From The Dark Multiverse HC will now also contain the “inspirational” issues that relate to the various one-shots: Batman #497, Superman #75, Blackest Night #1, Infinite Crisis #1
and Tales of the Teen Titans Annual #3. The price is going up only five bucks, though, from $29.99 to $34.99.

Avengers vs. Fantastic Four TP, which came out on 12/4, had slightly different contents than solicited: Fantastic Four (1961) #25-#26, #150, #255-#256; Fantastic Four Annual (1963) #19; Avengers (1963) #127, #233, #301-#303; Avengers Annual (1967) #14; New Avengers Custom #676: Army & Air Force (2005); and Mighty Avengers (2007) #25-#26.

Champions by Jim Zub Vol. 2: Give and Take TP (also released 12/4) had tweaked contents: Champions (2019) #7-#10 and Nova (2015) #1.

Fantastic Four: Grand Design TP has added Fantastic Four #51 to its contents, because why not.

Oz Complete Collection Vol. 1: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz/The Marvelous Land of Oz GN TP will no longer contain the Wonderful Wizard of Oz Sketchbook, alas. Perhaps in a future volume?

The Captain America story from Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day 2018 offering has been added to the contents of Captain America By Ta-Nehisi Coates Vol. 1 HC. Similarly, the 2019 FCBD offering has been added to Absolute Carnage TP, and the price of that is being raised from $24.99 to $29.99.

Speaking of Marvel’s hit event, Amazing Spider-Man By Nick Spencer Vol. 6 TP will now carry the subtitle Absolute Carnage.

It looks like Marvel has a brain fart and solicited what will be the contents of Thor By Jason Aaron Vol. 3 HC as the contents for Vol. 4. The contents will actually be Thor (2018) #1-11, and be $34.99 instead of the solicited $39.99.

All-New Ghost Rider (2014) #1 has been added to the contents of Avengers By Jason Aaron Vol. 5 Challenge Of The Ghost Riders TP, apparently with no price change.

Star Wars – Doctor Aphra Vol. 7 Rogue’s End TP will now contain material (presumably featuring the character) from Star Wars: Empire Ascendant one-shot. That raises the price from $15.99 to $17.99.

Here’s a complicated one: Fantastic Four Vol. 4 Point of Origin TP  has been retitled Fantastic Four Vol. 4 The Thing vs The Immortal Hulk TP and now contains Fantastic Four (2018) #12-#13, and the Fantastic Four: 4 Yancy Street and Fantastic Four:  Negative Zone one-shots. The book will now be 120 pages, not 152  pages; and will be $15.99, not $19.99. All this, I’d guess, to get the popular Immortal Hulk into the title of an FF trade. Not that it’s a bad idea, mind you.

Black Hammer/Justice League: Hammer of Justice HC was incorrectly solicited at a price of $19.99. Its correct price is $29.99.

Amazing Spider-Man by Nick Spencer Vol. 5 TP will now be subtitled Behind the Scenes. Also, Champions By Jim Zub Vol. 2 TP will now carry the subtitle Give And Take.

Some Marvel content/page count (and price) changes:

Major X TP will now be 168 pages at $24.99 and not 144 pages at $19.99. The book will now include Major X #1-6 and material from Major X #0.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Omnibus HC will now be 856 pages for $100 and not 624 pages for $75.

House of X/Powers of X HC will have 400 pages at $60 and not 304 pages at $50.

Our last update included a price reduction for Daredevil By Chip Zdarsky Vol. 1 To Know Fear TP. Turns out that is because it will contain only the first five issues of the series, instead of six.

Shuri Vol. 2 Vibranium TP will now be re-titled Shuri Vol. 2 24-7 Vibranium TP.

Secret Warps TP will now run 168 pages at a price of $17.99, rather than 200 pages at $19.99, with no change in content.

Here’s a biggie: Marvel Masterworks: Uncanny X-Men Vol. 12 HC will be $100, not $75. You must admit, that’s one big Masterwork.

Okay, here’s some contents updates to a couple of large collections from DC:

Added to Doom Patrol: The Bronze Age Omnibus HC: a never-before-published Doom Patrol story written by Paul Kupperberg with art by Rick Stasi, plus New Teen Titans #13-#15 and Teen Titans Spotlight #9. Because of these additions ‘ which bring the book’s page count to 960 ‘ the price of the book has changed to $125.

Crisis on Infinite Earths Box Set: Crisis on Multiple Earths Vol. 4 now collects Justice League of America #123-#124, #135-#137 and #147-#148, plus issues #159-#160, which have moved from Volume 5 to Volume 4. Crisis on Multiple Earths Vol. 5 now collects Justice League of America #171-172 and #183-185, plus issues #195-197, which have moved from Volume 6 to Volume 5.

Uncanny X-Men: Cyclops And Wolverine TP now has a Vol. 1 attached to it, as Matt Rosenberg’s entertaining run will be finished in a Volume 2 with the same designation.

Superior Spider-Man TP will now be re-titled Superior Spider-Man Vol. 1 Full Otto TP.

The Marvel Monograph series will apparently be considered a series, as Marvel Monograph: The Art of Adi Granov TP is now Marvel Monograph Vol. 1: The Art of Adi Granov TP.

Jim Lee XXL HC will now be re-titled X-Men XXL by Jim Lee HC.

Shuri Vol. 2 TP will now be re-titled Shuri Vol. 2 Vibranium TP.

War of the Realms: Venom TP will now be re-titled Venom: The War of the Realms TP.

Batman: Death of the Family Saga DC Essential Edition TP was recently canceled with notice that it would be re-solicited. Now DC is saying it will not be. Similarly, another New 52 collection, Wonder Woman: Blood And Guts TP is canceled with no re-solicitation plans. Also canceled not to be re-solicited: Challengers of the Unknown By Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale TP, and Green Lantern/Green Arrow: Hard Traveling Heroes TP.

Absolute Art Of Adam Hughes HC has been canceled also, but will be re-solicited.

Aquaman Vol. 1 Unspoken Water has been upgraded from a trade paperback to a hardcover at the new price of $24.99 from $17.99.

One odd note is that Green Lantern: Earth One TP is supposedly not getting re-solicited. It seems unlikely they would never put one of their popular Earth One graphic novels out in trade paperback. I guess we will see.

Batgirl Of Burnside Omnibus HC, Batman: The Hush Saga Omnibus the new edition of Absolute Dark Knight HC have all been cancelled by DC. There are no plans to re-solicit. On the other hand, Absolute Daytripper HC, Absolute Swamp Thing By Alan Moore Vol. 1 HC and New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 4 HC have also been cancelled, but will be re-solicited. Also, Image’s Near Death Vol. 3 OGN TP has been cancelled, or at least, be made available digitally only.

Star Wars: Han Solo, Imperial Cadet TP will now contain Star Wars: Han Solo, Imperial Cadet #1-#5 and Star Wars: Beckett #1, and will retail for $17.99, not $15.99.

Infinity Wars TP will now have 328 pages and a price of $34.99 instead of 270 pages and price of $29.99. And while we’re on the subject, Infinity Wars Sleepwalker TP will now contain Infinity Wars: Sleepwalker #1-#4 and Sleepwalker (1991) #1.

The new edition of DC/Jinxworld’s Fire TP will be $14.99 instead of $12.99.

Finally, two Fantastic Four trade price changes (for the better!) from Marvel: Fantastic Four Vol. 2 Mr. and Mrs. Grimm TP will now be $15.99, not $19.99; and Fantastic Four: Behold Galactus TP will now be $24.99, not $29.99.

Based on the updated contents of the new edition of Powers Book Three TP, it looks like the story from Oni Press Color Special 2001 #1 has been removed.
